Parish Finances
As in all other parishes in the Diocese, we have two collections at each Mass over the weekend. 

The First Collection is for the support of the Clergy. 

The Second Collection provides for all the operating expenses of the Parish, the employment of staff and the running of its pastoral Programs. This is therefore a very crucial collection. 

We ask all parishioners to take a set of Weekly Envelopes or to arrange for periodic contributions (monthly, quarterly, half yearly, or annually) by one of the following methods:

  • by cash or cheque
  • by direct debit from your bank account or credit card
  • or by direct credit from your account to our parish account.
Such periodical payments are beneficial in that they give our parish predictability and continuity in our income, and they allow us to plan ahead for the future.

The Parish Priest is responsible for the management of the Parish’s financial resources and he is assisted by the Parish Finance Committee which meets monthly.
